SEGA’s Aaron Webber loves to drop hints and Easter eggs throughout his social media postings and told the audience at the Sonic 25th Anniversary Party that there were plenty of Easter eggs hidden within the Sonic Mania trailer.
GameXplain has done some digging and discovered some pretty interesting tidbits of information, some we picked up on when we watched the trailer and some we didn’t. Check out the video, and let us know what you think of the Easter eggs they found and be sure to post any that you’ve discovered too!
Sonic Mania is a retro-style 2D platformer, very similar to the classic, 16-bit Sonic games and features redesigned levels and all-new zones, like Studiopolis Zone. The game is being developed by PagodaWest Games and Headcannon, and will be released in spring 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
