Rerez takes a look at SEGA’s obscure motion game, SEGA Pods

Back in 1994, SEGA manufactured an interesting toy called SEGA Pods. The device included three pods that were built with sensors that could detect your hand movement. These pods lit up and gave kids 7 games to choose from. A certain portion of those games were inspired by the classic electronic toy, Simon, where players would have to memorize the light patterns and pick them in the correct order.

In one of Rerez’s latest YouTube videos, they do a feature on SEGA Pods, which you can check out above. Have you guys tried the SEGA Pods before? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
