Sonic Generations, Panzer Dragoon Orta will soon be backwards compatible on Xbox One

Microsoft has announced that 19 original Xbox games and six Xbox 360 games will soon be backwards compatible on the Xbox One, with some receiving Xbox One X enhancements, as well.

Among those games are Panzer Dragoon Orta, Sonic Generations and Blinx: The Time Sweeper, which was directed by Naoto Ohshima.

Sonic Generations is now available to play, while Panzer Dragoon Orta and Blinx: The Time Sweeper will be added on April 17.

According to Microsoft, “all of these Original Xbox games will take advantage of the power of Xbox One with up to 4X the pixel count on Xbox One and Xbox One S, and up to 16X the pixel count on Xbox One X.”

If you already own the games, you’ll be able to play them via the disc, but they’ll also be available to purchase digitally in the Microsoft Store.
