While there is no firm release date for Shenmue III (other than the tentative “late 2018”), we do have some interesting bit of news to share with you guys. According to Ryo Hazuki’s English voice actor, Corey Marshall, he should start recording his lines by the end of May.
With that new update, I do not see Shenmue III coming out until at least early 2019. I honestly think Yu Suzuki should take as much time as he needs with the game. Hopefully we get some more updates at this year’s E3!
