Sonic movie to begin filming this summer in Atlanta
New info has surfaced about the Sonic movie that will be hitting theaters next November. In a article by Omega Underground, they report that the Sonic the Hedgehog movie will begin filming sometime this summer.
Director Jeff Fowler is hoping to get the movie in production by at least no later than July. They also report that filming will take place in Atlanta, Georgia. SEGA announced a full feature film with Sonic back in 2014, with a partnership with Sony. After three years, Paramount Pictures announced the take over of rights and the Sonic film will be released by November 2019.
Jeff Fowler and producer Tim Miller are the heads of the movie and Miller will also be bringing in his own studio, Blur Studios, in to help SEGA’s own Marza Animation Planet with the CGI animation.
The ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ movie will be released November 15, 2019.
