A few days ago, we reported that Sonic Forces was going to have a “Tag Team” mode featuring Modern Sonic and the Custom Character. You can read that article here. Earlier today, Shun Nakmura, producer on Forces, showed off the “Tag Team” gameplay during a livestream.

In it, we see Sonic and and the Avatar run through a damaged Green Hill, trying to infiltrate Eggman’s base, which is a pyramid. The most notibly new mechanic in the game was the “Double Boost” feature. Which, activated through a quicktime event, would allow Sonic and the Avatar to speed across the stage. Nakamura did not finish the stage, leaving all to wonder what hidden secrets this base has.

Sonic Forces will be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 7 in Euorpe and November 9 in Japan.
