Has Sonic Mania’s release date been potentially revealed?

Sonic Mania is perhaps one of the most anticipated games of the year for SEGA fans, yet we have not gotten a solid release date yet. The title was originally supposed to be released this Spring but was delayed to improve the quality of the game. 

According to Sonic Mania’s Steam page, Sonic Mania is scheduled to land on August 15th. The date appears in a featured trailer on the European Steam page, but the American web page still says the game is slated for a Summer 2017 release. 

There is no official word from SEGA, so we’ll see what happens in the near future.
