A Postmortem of Seaman is coming to GDC 2017

SEGA fans have another reason to look forward to the Game Developers Conference this year. According to the latest update from the GDC, Yoot Saito, the creator of the Seaman series, will be having a Postmortem about the game at this year’s conference.

“Saito is coming to GDC 2017 to speak at length about his work creating Seaman, a game that left an indelible mark on the fabric of both the game industry and pop culture at large. Don’t miss it!

Like all of GDC’s great classic game postmortems, this will be an hour-long session — you can find further details about it over on the GDC 2017 Schedule Builder. We figured you might appreciate the heads-up so you can keep this postmortem on your radar!

It promises to be a unique talk you won’t want to miss, so if you haven’t registered for GDC already, don’t miss your opportunity to save some money by registering early — the deadline to register for passes at a discounted rate is January 18, 2017.”

GDC 2017 is taking place from February 27th to March 3rd at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
