Sonic the Hedgehog‘s Twitter account has spawned numerous hilarious tweets and memes that have entertained us for ages. One meme that seems to be quite prevalent within the Sonic community is the “& Knuckles” joke, which is taken from the game, Sonic & Knuckles.
Last year, Sonic the Hedgehog‘s Twitter account posted a hilarious image of a boxart that had Knuckles on the front with the game title, “Knuckles the Echidna in Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles”with a 2029 release date. Deus Ex‘s official twitter account responded with “I’ve always asked for this.”
When you play Deus Ex: Mankind, you can actually spot a copy (or three) of Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles in the Tech Noir building in Prague in Mankind Divided. We applaud Square Enix and the team for inserting this amazing Easter Egg.
