Check out Atlus’ Persona 5 E3 presentation

Persona 5′s gameplay has been shrouded in mystery for quite some time, and footage from Persona 5‘s gameplay for the west were few and far between. During this year’s E3, Atlus held a special presentation for Persona 5, showcasing some of the gameplay that fans can expect. Excited fans filed into the stage area as Atlus reps handed out hats that depicted Morgana, everyone’s favorite feline.

Persona 5‘s footage takes place in April, and reminds veteran fans of the day and night cycle. Like other entries in the series, Persona 5 has a social and dungeon aspect. The footage shows off the protagonist spending time in school, where he gets to bond with the new friends he meets. The video also reveals some of the different part-time jobs that you could take on, including flower shops and convenience stores. When you’re not at work, you can spend time hanging out with your friends, batting at the cages, studying, watching a movie, and more.

Morgana will apparently follow you everywhere you go, as the footage shows the little cat follow you wherever you go. Based on the video, you also receive texts from your classmates that inform you of certain deadlines and storyline progressions .

Once you’re done with the social aspect of your day, you move on to the dungeons, where the action takes place. In Persona 5, stealth is the name of the game, and it expects you to use your surroundings to make a surprise attack.
