This year’s E3 is just days away, and SEGA has released its Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice trailer for everyone to see developer Sanzaru Games’ progress.
Visually, it doesn’t look too dissimilar from Sanzaru’s first game in the Sonic Boom series – Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal, which wasn’t very well received by fans and critics alike. It appears that the series’ staple, the Enerbeams make their return, allowing Sonic and friends to use it to break through obstacles, break through enemy shields and even cross large gaps.
Fire & Ice will release this September, and the launch edition will come packaged with a DVD containing several episodes from the popular Sonic Boom animated show. The game will also be playable for the first time at this year’s E3.
Expect our hands-on preview next week!
