Moddb user Ash 712 is working on a Snatcher VR remake made with Unreal Engine 4 that runs on the Oculus Rift DK2. The user has recently posted an advance on how his work is looking (watch video above). Let’s hope Konami takes this as it is, a non-lucrative fan project, and doesn’t take it down, like they use to.
Snatcher is a 1988 MSX game (inspired by Blade Runner) written and produced by Hideo Kojima which was ported in 1994 for the SEGA CD where it reached popularity and its cult status. Years later a SEGA Saturn version was released in Japan.
