Final Fantasy XIV collab coming to PSO2 in Japan

In its latest PSO2 Thanksgiving Festival (events organized for the Japanese PSO2 fandom) which happened a few hours ago (today, March 21, 2016) in Tokyo’s Ariake Colosseum, SEGA Games Japan announced important collabs will arrive PSO2 this summer:

  • Square-Enix is teaming up with SEGA for a Final Fantasy XIV collab to arrive on Phantasy Star Online 2, which means the 2 most important RPG franchises out there will finally collide. “FFXIV” producer and director Naoki Yoshida was invited as a secret guest to reveal the special collaboration. The collab will feature Odin and Miqo’te costumes plus items on PSO2, though both producers, Yoshida and Satoshi Sakai revealed there’s more to be announced soon!

  • Continuing the trend of arrangements with Square-Enix, a “Million Arthur” (mobile card game) costumes and card collab will arrive to both PSO2 & PSO2es (mobile version) this April.
  • While SEGA’s own “The World End Eclipse” collab will arrive this March 25th for PSO2’s regular version.
