Microsoft announces SEGA’s Xbox 360 backwards compatible games for Xbox One

Microsoft is set to launch its latest Xbox One dashboard update, which will bring Xbox 360 backwards compatibility to the console, later this week on Nov. 12.

Today, however, Microsoft announced all of the 104 titles to have made the cut, and there are quite a few notable SEGA titles on the list.

Here is the full list of SEGA games:

  • Condemned
  • Crazy Taxi
  • Golden Axe
  • Ikaruga
  • NiGHTs Into Dreams
  • SEGA Vintage Collection: Alex Kidd & Co
  • SEGA Vintage Collection: Golden Axe
  • SEGA Vintage Collection: Monster World
  • SEGA Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage
  • Sonic CD
  • Sonic the Hedgehog
  • Sonic the Hedgehog 2
  • Sonic the Hedgehog 3

It’s a shame Sonic 2006 didn’t make the list, but considering it’s one of SEGA’s biggest Xbox 360 releases, we’re sure it’s just a matter of time until it makes its way to the Xbox One.

So, what do you think of SEGA’s offerings for the initial launch of games? Any others you’d like to see get added?
