UNBOXING: Sakura Shinguji Nendoroid
The following unboxing is for a figure released long time ago, but since the the good guys at AmiAmi had a special sale months ago in which I got this figure for USD $10, I decided to unbox it for the sake of it. Because of reasons… 😛
Anyway, we have the standard Nendo box with blister, all parts are tiny like in every release of this type. A problem I find with most Nendos (short for Nendoroid) is that they have lots of difficulties to stand on their own (their chibi heads are soooo big), so you end up using the annoying tripod for most cases. That matter set aside, the figure quality is good (I usually complain about Good Smile Company materials and paint jobs but this is not the case; sorry, I’m just too used to current Bandai or Medicom quality). And once we deal with all of that… yes, the Nendos are cute…
This chibi Sakura version has accesories like her sword Arakata (perfect for shouting “Ouka Houshin!!” while making her pose with it!), which sadly can’t be stored in the plastic Saya. The extra arms and hands are perfect for a couple of poses.
A perefect addition for this set is her pink Kobu, Sakura can be placed in it, dividing her body of course… but she looks pretty rad once in it! I loved that the Kobu has a lot of movement parts.
