SEGA, Game Freak’s new game is Tembo the Badass Elephant

We finally learned what that mysterious card from SEGA and Game Freak that featured an elephant picking up peanuts was all about.

Turns out, it was for Tembo the Badass Elephant, an upcoming 2D sidescroller on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam game that will be released this summer.

It appears that you’ll control Tembo through semi-destructible levels where you’re battling against an opposing military force. Why a bandana-wearing, peanut eating Rambo-esque elephant is at war with this army is not yet known, but the game looks very colorful and fun.
