Longtime SEGA Amusements USA member Tom Keil passes away

We’re sorry to have to bring you this news today, but a longtime member of the amusements industry, Tom Keil lost his battle with cancer onĀ April 18.

Keil, who lived in Charlotte, N.C., was 63 years old and was a regional sales managerĀ at SEGA Amusements USA, but he formerly worked with Brady, Atari and Sammy.

“Tom put up a valiant and courageous fight against cancer for over three years. Throughout his entire ordeal, he never let his condition stop or even slow him down,” said SEGA Amusements General Manager Peter Gustafson. “His unwillingness to let his disease define him was an inspirational example of how to live fully regardless of the circumstances life hands you.”

His wife, Janice Kiel, said in lieu of a memorial service, Tom requested donations to be made to medical centers:
