In addition to teasing Persona 5, Atlus announced several new Persona titles for 2014 during its Teaser! Persona Channel on Sunday.
First up, is
Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold, which will be released in arcades Nov. 23 and on the PlayStation 3 this summer. This is a fighter that’s apparently a sequel to
Persona 4 Arena. You can see more at the
official site.
Next is
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth for the Nintendo 3DS on June 14, 2014 in Japan. This dungeon-crawler takes a small departure from the series’ normal character design for a more chibi look.
While some may be turned off by the look, I actually like it. It still looks like a Persona game, and I’m sure will still play similarly to one. The official site is here.
Last is
Persona 4: Dancing All Night, which is a music-rhythm game, not unlike
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f, and will be released in the fall of 2014. Actually, Dingo is developing the game with Atlus, which also developed
Project DIVA, so there’s some similarities from there already.
There’s not much video shown in the way of how the game will play aside from a few seconds, but it looks a little different than Project DIVA. The official site is here.
