In the wee hours of the night, Atlus’ mysterious countdown expired, and the company announced a range of new Persona titles, including the highly anticipated Persona 5. The next entry in the series is slated to be released on the PlayStation 3 in winter 2014 in Japan.
The above video shows five chairs held down by balls and chains with the words “You are a slave. Want emancipation?”
It all sounds pretty exciting, and I’m now punching myself in the face for trading in my PS3 to GameStop. Damn it! Oh yeah, there’s no word on when or if the game will make it to the West, but let’s just say it has a much higher chance than say Yakuza 5 or Phantasy Star Online 2.
