Ron Gilbert’s latest creation, The Cave, will finally make its debut on mobile devices when it releases on iOS Oct. 3 for $4.99.
The Cave was released on home consoles and computers in January, with the PlayStation 3 version sporting a 72 Metacritic score. The game is somewhat reminiscent of one of Gilbert’s earlier classics, Maniac Mansion, where you select three characters and use them to solve a series of puzzles. The characters include creepy twins, a brave knight, a hillbilly and a monk, to name a few.
