Game Developer Magazine: SEGA AM2 among top 30 devs ever

In the last issue of Game Developer Magazine, its staff, along with Gamasutra staff members, named their top 30 game developers of all time. Included in the list was SEGA AM2. Here’s what they had to say:

“Sega in general is near and dear to our hearts, but we wanted to give Yu Suzuki’s team a special nod for their string of great work from After Burner and OutRun to Virtua Fighter and Shenmue. AM2 made arcades a magical place to be, and we miss that.”

Certainly nice words for a well-deserving studio, especially considering the rest of the studios they were among.
