SEGA of Japan officially announces Sonic Runners

It turns out SEGA registering Sonic Runners awhile back foreshadowed a real video game. Who woulda thought that?

Well, members of Sonic Team, including Takashi Iizuka officially announced the game today during an event at SEGA Joypolis, and it will indeed be a mobile title.

We don’t have much more information other than that, but supposedly, more information will be released next month.
