SEGA has released a gameplay trailer for the upcoming Hatsune Miku: Mirai 2 game for the 3DS. The game was teased earlier this month, where we actually assumed it was part of the main Project DIVA franchise (also starring Hatsune Miku).
However, Project Mirai is technically a spin-off series of games and so far has only appeared on the 3DS – whereas the main Project DIVA games have only really been on Sony platforms, with the exception of one Arcade-exclusive title.
I’m not a big fan of playing rhythm games like this, but there’s something about watching them being played, it’s mesmerising. Anyway, enough of that – just watch the pretty video above and enjoy the colourful, cute and hypnotic animations.
