DCS gets hands on with the latest Dreamcast game – Sturmwind

Those beautiful people over at Dreamcast-Scene (DCS) have got their hands on a preview copy of the latest major indie title due to be released on the Dreamcast, Sturmwind.

Developed by Duranik and published by RedSpotGames, Sturmwind was supposed to be released back in 2011, that date was pushed back to 2012, and then the game was put on hold – one reason given was due to problems at the CD printing factory. But, RedSpotGames said at the time that the delay would give them time work on enhancing certain features of the game.

Well, the game still hasn’t got an official release date, but it is still available to preorder from RedSpotGames and the fact that DC-Scene has been given a preview copy of the game can only mean the wait will be over soon enough (I hope!). Until that time, feel free to view the original trailer (above) – it’s over a year old now though, so ignore the release date given.

For the full hands-on, go check out DC-Scene.

Like what you see? Then pre-order at RedSpotGames.
